ProFixer is a platform that connects customers with verified home service professionals including electricians, plumbers, AC repair technicians, and other home maintenance specialists in Mumbai.

Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Electrical services and repairs
  • Plumbing services and installations
  • AC service, repair, and maintenance
  • Emergency home services
  • General home maintenance and repairs

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete information when booking services
  • Ensure safe access to the service location
  • Be present or arrange for someone to be present during service
  • Pay for services as agreed upon
  • Provide feedback and ratings honestly
  • Respect service providers and their work

3.2 Service Provider Responsibilities

  • Maintain professional qualifications and certifications
  • Arrive on time for scheduled appointments
  • Provide quality workmanship and materials
  • Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations
  • Communicate clearly with customers

4. Booking and Payment

Booking Process: Services can be booked through our website, mobile app, or by calling our customer service number.

Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed. We accept various payment methods including cash, UPI, credit/debit cards, and digital wallets.

Pricing: Service prices are provided upfront and are subject to change. Any additional work beyond the original scope will be discussed and approved before proceeding.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation: Customers may cancel bookings up to 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time without penalty. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the appointment may incur a cancellation fee.

Refunds: Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days for eligible cancellations. Refunds are not available for completed services unless there is a legitimate quality issue.

6. Service Quality and Warranty

Quality Assurance: We strive to ensure all service providers meet our quality standards. However, we are not directly responsible for the work performed by independent contractors.

Warranty: Service providers may offer warranties on their work. Warranty terms vary by service type and provider. ProFixer will facilitate warranty claims but is not responsible for warranty fulfillment.

7. Limitation of Liability

ProFixer acts as an intermediary platform connecting customers with service providers. We are not liable for:

  • Damages resulting from service provider negligence
  • Property damage during service provision
  • Delays or cancellations by service providers
  • Quality issues with completed work
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

8. Prohibited Activities

Users are prohibited from:

  • Providing false or misleading information
  • Attempting to circumvent our platform for direct transactions
  • Harassing or abusing service providers or other users
  • Using the platform for illegal activities
  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the ProFixer platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of ProFixer and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the service, to understand our practices.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
